Water treatment
Produced water handling
Management of produced water handling (PWH) requires an understanding of the most efficient means of exporting water from the production facilities. With increasing demand for PWH, PSN is at the forefront of technical knowledge and design to deliver cost effective solutions. Our PWH projects range from concept and design, through to installation and maintenance of equipment. Our experienced project teams and operation support personnel ensure all projects are successfully implemented and operated.
Produced water re-injection
PSN pioneered the use of a more effective alternative to overboard disposal which allows the water to be re-injected into the reservoir. Through our innovative approach, we have for the first time managed new regulatory design interfaces between existing and new systems, delivering projects that reduce capital expenditure (CAPEX), enhance production and defer abandonment costs. This approach significantly removes the risk of pollution, reduces the costs associated with treating prior to discharge and negates the penalties associated with discharging hydrocarbons above agreed limits.
