PSN's environmental engineers work at the earliest possible stage in projects to ensure appropriate measures are incorporated into designs. We also provide support and guidance at all stages of a project so that our customers can benefit from the rapidly changing technology and keep ahead of the rapidly changing legislation in this vitally important area.   

Prevention is always better than cure
We identify and assess the significance of environmental impacts at the earliest stages in projects to allow appropriate management measures to be incorporated within the design. Our identification of environmental hazards (ENVID) uses a process similar to that used for identification of safety related hazards,( HAZID).

Support to ongoing projects
We provide support and guidance at each stage of the project lifecycle, offering a full range of studies, including baseline surveys. We develop training and communication programmes for both office-based engineers and site personnel. We also assist our customers by acting as an interface between projects and third party consultants.
